I decided, after finishing my re-write, that I'm all about having a better attitude. Towards work, life, maybe even people in general -- but don't hold me to that last one. It's really easy to get caught up in a negative attitude. Sometimes you forget how lucky you are to be leading the life you live. I've a job that pays me a ridiculous amount of money. And I've another job that is basically a paid hobby. So shut the f*ck up, right? Right.
I used to have a hard time with notes on my scripts because I took them personally. I think I slipped back into that the other day. Getting a script assignment is just that -- an assignment. I am a foot soldier for someone's vision. They're trusting me with it, so I just need to do it and do it to the best of my ability.
All that, and no one likes being around a depressed person.
Let's all drink to that this Saturday at Vito, huh? Who's with me, people?
